The Intentional Expat is Undergoing Some Changes

While I’ve only had this blog for a little over two months, I’ve been delighted to discover just how quickly my readership has grown and how it has allowed me to connect with potential therapy clients. However, all of this growth has meant that I’ve quickly outgrown what this WordPress blog has to offer. I’m currently in the process of exploring more professional options that will allow me to continue to share expat interviews, tips on well-being abroad and information on the therapy services I offer both in Madrid and online. In the meantime you won’t be seeing any new posts from me on here, but I hope to have the new site up and running as soon as possible.

While you’re waiting, take a look at some of the most popular blogs I’ve posted so far:

This is also a great time to connect with me via:

See you soon!

Here I am looking into the future at all the exciting things in store for this blog. I hope you aren't as shocked and disappointed by the news as that girl in the background appears to be.

Author: Melissa

Born in the rainy, green Northwestern corner of the United States, Melissa relocated to the almost-always-sunny city of Madrid, Spain five years ago. After getting her master's degree, traveling to places her friends at home drooled about, falling in love with a Spaniard, and having her heart broken by said Spaniard, it's safe to say that she's learned firsthand about the less than glamorous side of living abroad. Thankfully, she gets to use this experience, along with her professional expertise, in her work as a mental health therapist in Madrid where she helps other expats learn to deal with the inevitable ups and downs of living abroad. This blog is designed to be informative and is in no way intended to serve as a substitute for therapy.
